Players build fortified bases from a variety of materials, even stealing or buy mounted weapons and putting them on rooftops, or taking over existing structures such as oil rigs in the ocean. It pits players against a post-apocalyptic environment in a sandbox format. Exile is a modification of the game ArmA 3, a military simulator.
